The workshop includes half of hour talk on pigments and pastel, egg tempera and ink binders

You will make and take home with you:
10 x chalk sticks of 2 different colours
1 x 100ml Shellac ink
1 x 100 ml egg tempera
All the tools will be supplied for the workshop
Encaustics and stretching canvas is possible on request
In addition to this, Herman will be demonstrating how easy it is to make egg tempera and alkyds. Various other mediums will be discussed and you will be surprised at what you will be able to make on completion of this workshop.
Your starter kit includes Herman’s book “The Found Art of Paint Making” together with the basic equipment and ingredients you’ll need for the day. We will also provide a light lunch, so all you will need to bring is yourself.
